HIGHLIGHTS:
Arhitecture and Hight (48 metres)
Built in 1602-1609, Dragomirna is one of the Moldavian monasteries set at a later time than most. The church features an atypical proportion, as the height of the steeple is greater than the length of the church body, which is at its turn rather narrow. This very fact and the stone structure create a great impact on the visitor.
While the exterior has not been endowed with frescoes, on the inside, the fresco technique blends in religious and local traditional elements in a harmonious manner.
